 Project background

        Despite supporting the Monastery, the monks and donating the charitable foundation, you can also choose to become a volunteer for the foundation and that you can donate your time and expertise to various charitable projects.

        Through the establishment of the charitable foundation, our venerable Lodroe Nyima Rinpoche hopes to improve the living standard of poor people in Yushu. The charitable foundation does not only care for those forsake the world but also care for the general public. So, the charitable categories include education, community, medical and cultural protection.

        No matter joining one item or participating in the entire operation, you are welcome to contact us directly. The following are the items that we need assistance.

● Donate the printing of Sutras with at your own will
● Hire teacher (like Chinese, English, computer and other subjects) roughly 2000 dollars per month
● Help raise little lamas and little nuns throughout the year
● To recruit Teachers of Chinese language with strong Chinese foundation from mainland China or overseas. To recruit volunteer Math and English teachers (like Chinese language, English, computer software application and other subjects) throughout the year. These teachers will be invited to Yushu Thrangu Monastery or the Yushu Nunnery to offer primary school children an opportunity to study.
● Computers, computer chairs, various Tibetan, Chinese and English religious publications.
● To provide the Monastery with solar energy lighting and receiving system and installation projects.
● To build a clinic with basic medical facilities near the Monastery.
