     For the past two years the Monastery decided to organize the Vajrasattva Puja earlier. Since the Monastery is located in high altitude and the extreme cold area, at the end of October, winter snow covers the earth and the winter has come.

In the Tibetan freezing winter shoes are indispensable. We feel thankful for the support from all worshippers to the Thrangu Monastery and the people who donate to lama Zhi Ming. Monks support is a beneficial act of Buddha. Monks and treasures are the maintenance and donation for the entire world and also the ultimate blessing of our practice. According to the Ullambana Sutra: If we support the monks with food, bedding and medicine, which lead to a quiet practice of the monks, the power of dedication will affect seven generations of ancestors. Relatives and dependents can free from the “three evil realms”. The supporters and their parents enjoy longevity and free from illness, abundance in food and clothing and a good physical and psychological well-being. We feel thankful for your unlimited merits. We dedicate the merits to all your parents, hope to relief from the pain of reincarnation and the immediate proof of such relief.
