      During 2010, owing to the effect of the Yushu earthquake, the Damkar Lhundrub Dechen Chokhor Ling had also suffered from various degree of damage. Under the hard work of our venerable Dulmo Choje Rinpoche and various worshippers over the years, the reconstruction of the temple has completed successfully. We feel glad for all the great merits.

In front of the Sacred Material Stuffing Ceremony

On Sep 2, the enlightenment ceremony of the Damkar Lhundrub Dechen Chokhor Ling took place in the grand hall. Our venerable Dulmo Choje Rinpoche hosted the Enlightenment Ceremony Puja.

Our venerable Lodroe Nyima Rinpoche together with many eminent monks joined the Damkar Lhundrub Dechen Chokhor Ling Sacred Material Stuffing Ceremony

The carving inside the temple is vivid and the golden dome at the outside looks particularly solemn.

The eminent monks are gathered together to participate in the enlightenment ceremony with unlimited joy.

Inside the brilliant golden Grand Hall, the worshippers, monks and villagers piously contribute to the masters and the Three Treasures with unlimited piety of the heart.

On the fourth day at the Damkar Plaza, the local residences are dancing and singing cheerfully with harmonic and pleasant music, vocals and elegant cultural dances. They express their joy with a cheerful heart and piously contribute to the “Buddha from the ten directions”. We are glad to see everything like that.

The Grand Hall, the Buddhist College, Retreat Centre and the dormitory of the Damkar Lhundrub Dechen Chokhor Ling has all enlightened! We feel great! Karmapa Chenno! Amitabha!
