Rinpoche is cutting the cake

        2 Mar, 2014 is not only the New Year day in the Tibetan calendar but also the first day of the very special month. This day is the very auspicious as Sakyamuni Buddha subdued the heretics and paid his upmost effort to promote Buddhism. Many Buddhist sutras have mentioned the great merits in this special month.

       Although there is a big difference in habits between the Tibetan and the Han Chinese, they have the same wish in the New Year: they pray for the happiness and good health for all sentient beings.

       Early in the morning, Lodroe Nyima Rinpoche led about one hundred worshippers to release about one million lives in Shunde Bijiang;

       The Qinghai Thrangu Monastery had also held a new year blessing Puja. The monks prayed and piously read scriptures. Many villagers joyfully came to join the Puja.

       In the evening, many worshippers were gathered to practice the rituals of the Medicine Buddha in the Zhuhai temple(Rinpoche said it would be practice sessions in the next 15 days until 16 March, he welcomed those who have time to join these sessions to accumulate merits in this Buddha Change day.) We wish during this very supreme day, benevolent seeds can be sowed and at the same time dedicate these merits to the victims of tragedies, the sentient beings hurt by serious illness and people who suffered stay away from agony. We wish the world be more peaceful, weather be more favorable, harvest and grain be more plentiful, more prosperous and stable, every one full of fortune and wisdom, early achievement of Buddhahood and extensive assistance of the sentient beings.

       That day is also the birthday of our venerable Lodroe Niyma Rinpoche. Upon the completion of the practice session, the worshippers wished our master to be healthy, longevity and the Falun is always spinning for the benefit of the sentient being. They joyfully designed a poem to the Rinpoche as a celebration.

       Piously bow to our master to wish him longevity

Compassion and wisdom is vast as the deep sea

The light of wisdom luminously shines the universe

 We bow for our fulfillment of wisdom and fortune merits

To follow the karma with the diligence of Bodhi

Infinite compassion benefits all the sentient beings

To uphold the Buddhist method to help the sentient beings

We bow for the good deeds that last for centuries

We wish our master longevity and healthy

We wish everything remain unchanged

 We wish every aspiration can be accomplished

       Karmapa Chenno!

At the same time, worshippers from Shanghai saved a lot of marine life from the market and let them went back to the sea
